The Story

Catbird Ridge Boutique Bed & Breakfast, located in Summerland, British Columbia was built in 2006 specifically as a small Inn/Bed & Breakfast. In 2009 the doors were closed and Summerland lost one of its most prized accommodations. The winter of 2015 when Mark & Anna walked in, they knew right away it was the spot for them.

After 25 years of ranching in the Cariboo and the last 10 years getting to know and participate in the Okanagan wine scene, they have found the perfect venue to host guests and pass that knowledge on.

Wine touring has been a large part of their past travels. Trips to the wine regions of France, Italy, Spain, California, Australia and Germany have given Mark & Anna a great appreciation of how fortunate we are to have the Okanagan Valley and its dynamic wine industry here.

Anna has been hosting and entertaining friends through various events at the ranch for years. She now finally gets to expand her past experience with hotels and catering services and will now delight guests in the full, updated kitchen at Catbird Ridge.
